Dear Sir:
Contract documents and specifications have been prepared to Furnish and Deliver Unleaded Gasoline to Various Locations for a one (1) year period, beginning approximately January 1, 2027 and ending December 31, 2027.
The purpose of this contract is to furnish and deliver unleaded gasoline to the District’s storerooms to maintain sufficient inventory levels, which are required for the day-to-day operational needs of the District.
The estimated cost for this contract is as follows:
Group A: Truck Transport $310,000.00
Group B: Tank Wagon $ 98,800.00
Total $408,800.00
No bid deposit is required for this contract.
The Multi-Project Labor Agreement (MPLA) is not applicable to this contract because it does not fall under the provisions of the MPLA.
The Affirmative Action Ordinance, Revised Appendix D and Appendix V, will not be included in this contract because the contract is limited to furnishing and delivering unleaded gasoline, with no labor component or viable subcontracting opportunities to support MBE, WBE, or VBE participation goals.
The tentative schedule for this contract is as follows:

Bid Opening October 27, 2026
Award December 17, 2026
Completion December 31, 2027
Funds are available in Accounts 101-16000, 20000, 69000-623820.
In view of the foregoing, it is recommended that the Director of Procurement and Materials Management be authorized to advertise Contract 27-021-11.
