Dear Sir:
Request for Proposal (RFP) documents have been prepared for 16-RFP-24 Claims Management Services, at the request of the Human Resources Department.
The purpose of this contract is to seek a vendor to provide claims management services and expertise for the adjustment of large or complex losses, including first-party damage and third-party liability, and property damage loss adjustment on an as-needed basis for a three-year period, with an option to extend for an additional two years.
The estimated cost for this RFP is $150,000.00. The estimated 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019 expenditures are $10,000.00, $50,000.00, $50,000.00 and $40,000.00, respectively. No bid deposit is required for this RFP.
The contract for this RFP shall be for the period beginning November 15, 2016 and ending November 14, 2019. The contract may be renewed for up to an additional two (2) years by mutual consent of both parties via Board approval. Funding of all contract items is subject to the Board of Commissioners budgetary approval for those years.
Appendix A will not be included in this RFP due to neither direct nor indirect subcontracting opportunities will be practicable or cost-effective.

Funds for the current year are available in Account 901-30000-667220. Funds for subsequent years, 2017, 2018 and 2019, are contingent on the Board of Commissioners’ approval of the District’s budget for those years.
