MOTION to reappoint David Ormsby, Inc. as public relations consultant for the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago for an additional one-year period in an amount not to exceed $48,000.00, Account 101-11000-612430
Body
I hereby move to reappoint David Ormsby, Inc. as public relations consultant (“Consultant”) for the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago (“MWRD”) for an additional one-year period commencing September 8, 2026, and expiring September 7, 2027. The Consultant shall be compensated at a rate not to exceed $4,000.00 per month.
I further move that the Director of Procurement and Materials Management be authorized and directed to issue a purchase order to and enter into a new agreement with David Ormsby, Inc., in an amount not to exceed $48,000.00 upon the above stated terms, and that the Chairman of the Committee on Finance, the Clerk, the Director of Procurement and Materials Management, and the Executive Director be authorized and directed to execute said purchase order and related agreement on behalf of the MWRD after said agreement is approved by the General Counsel as to form and legality.
The estimated expenditure for 2026 is $16,000.00 and the estimated expenditure for 2027 is $32,000.00, which is contingent on the Board of Commissioners’ approval of the MWRD’s budget for 2027.
