TRANSMITTAL LETTER FOR BOARD MEETING OF MAY 21, 2026

COMMITTEE ON PROCUREMENT

Mr. John P. Murray, Executive Director

Title

Authorization to amend Board Order of May 7, 2026 regarding Issue Purchase Order to Schneider Electric USA, Inc., to Furnish and Deliver One (1) Distributed Control System (DCS) Test Cabinet to the Calumet Water Reclamation Plant (CWRP) in an amount not to exceed $221,817.45, Account 101-68000-634650, Requisition 1654520, Agenda Item No. 16, File No. 26-0275

Body

Dear Sir:

At the Board Meeting of May 7, 2026, the Board of Commissioners duly authorized the above stated action, Agenda Item No. 16, File No. 26-0275.

A textual error in the transmittal letter and resulting order listed the company as “Schneider Electric USA, Inc.” The correct name should be “Schneider Electric Systems USA, Inc.”

A textual error in the transmittal letter stating that “Schneider Electric USA, Inc. is registered and in good standing with the State of Illinois.” This should instead read that “Schneider Electric Systems USA, Inc. is not registered in the State of Illinois but is registered and in good standing in the State of Massachusetts.  The Acting Director of Maintenance and Operations has recommended to move forward with the award.”

All other information provided in the transmittal letter is correct.

Therefore, it is requested that the aforesaid Board Order of May 7, 2026, be amended to effect the changes set forth above, otherwise to remain in force and effect as heretofore enacted.

Requested, Edward J. Staudacher, Acting Director of Maintenance and Operations: DAL:SEB:MS:ES:dhk

Recommended, Darlene A. LoCascio, Director of Procurement and Materials Management

Respectfully Submitted, Precious Brady-Davis, Chairperson Committee on Procurement

Disposition of this agenda item will be documented in the official Regular Board Meeting Minutes of the Board of Commissioners for May 21, 2026
