MOTION to approve funds for District-wide celebrations
Body
The District traditionally sponsors three District-wide employee celebrations and other special events each year. The District-wide employee celebrations are the Retirement Dinner, Annual Employee Picnic, and Holiday Party.
The District’s annual picnic will be held at the Mainstream Pumping Station on September 9, 2017.
The Retirement Dinner and Holiday Celebration will be combined this year. The event will be held at the Stadium Club at Guaranteed Rate Field on December 2, 2017.
I hereby move that the Board of Commissioners authorize the Executive Director to plan, District-wide, a holiday/retirement dinner and a picnic during 2017 and further move that the Executive Director be authorized to spend a total amount not to exceed $30,000.00 on these celebrations and other special events.
