Report on payments of principal and interest for outstanding District bonds on December 1, 2008

Dear Sir:

 

I wish to report that in accordance with the Rules of the Board and the various bond ordinances, on December 1, 2008, $117,067,856.25 was transferred to the paying agents for the District's bond issues for payment of principal and interest on outstanding bonds due on December 1, 2008 and for the early redemption (call) of refunding bonds of July, 1997, as authorized by the Board of Commissioners in Ordinance O08-007 at its meeting on October 2, 2008. The attached Schedule A indicates the amount paid on each outstanding bond issue.

 

Amalgamated Bank, as Escrow Agent, transferred $50,213,387.50 for principal and interest due to the paying agent for seven partially and fully refunded issues of District bonds. (See attached Schedule B.)

 

The total District debt service payment on December 1, 2008, for principal and interest was therefore $167,281,243.75.
