MOTION to appoint David Ormsby, Inc., as Public Relations Consultant for the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago for a one-year period in an amount not to exceed $48,000.00, Account 101-11000-612430 (Deferred from the August 10, 2023 Board Meeting)
Body
I hereby move to appoint David Ormsby, Inc., as Public Relations Consultant for the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago for a one-year period beginning as of the agreement date. The Consultant shall be compensated at a rate of $4,000.00 per month.
I further move that the Director of Procurement and Materials Management be authorized and directed to issue a purchase order to and enter into an agreement with David Ormsby, Inc., in an amount not to exceed $48,000.00 upon the above and foregoing terms, and that the Chairman of the Committee on Finance, the Clerk, the Director of Procurement and Materials Management, and the Executive Director be authorized and directed to execute said purchase order and related agreement on behalf of the MWRD after said agreement is approved by the General Counsel as to form and legality.
The estimated expenditure for 2023 is $16,000.00; the estimated expenditure for 2024 is $32,000.00, contingent on the Board of Commissioners’ approval of the MWRD’s budget for 2024.
