Body

Dear Sir:

Contract documents and specifications have been prepared for Contract 24-689-11, Test and Repair Underground Storage Tanks at Various Locations, at the request of the Maintenance and Operations Department.

The purpose of this contract is to test and repair the District’s underground storage tanks, as required by the Office of the Illinois State Fire Marshal, for a three-year period.

The estimated cost for this contract is not to exceed $318,900.00. The estimated 2024, 2025, 2026, and 2027 expenditures are $73,400.00, $83,500.00, $83,500.00, and $78,500.00, respectively.

The Multi-Project Labor Agreement (MPLA) will not be included in this contract because the classification of work does not fall within the provisions of the MPLA.

The Affirmative Action Ordinance, Revised Appendix D and Appendix V, will not be included in this contract due to the lack of available M/W/VBE firms that have specialized licenses to perform the work.
