RESOLUTION sponsored by the Board of Commissioners recognizing Carla H. Brown
Body
WHEREAS, after healing from paralysis in 1997, Carla H. Brown realized that she could use her healing experience to support others experiencing grief and loss; and
WHEREAS, Carla became a teacher of Laughter Yoga and later Grief Yoga to instruct people on how to live with joy; and
WHEREAS, since 2005, Carla has been coaching, training, and empowering people to move through hard feelings and to embrace happiness and laughter once again. In 2009, she started offering her services at hospitals and various therapeutic facilities; and
WHEREAS, Carla H. Brown has dedicated herself to helping people improve their mental and physical health; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that we, the Board of Commissioners of the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago, on behalf of ourselves and staff, do hereby recognize Carla H. Brown for her contributions; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that this Resolution be spread upon the permanent Record of Proceedings of the Board of Commissioners of the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago and that a copy of same, suitably engrossed, be presented to Carla H. Brown.
