Dear Sir:
Request for Proposal (RFP) documents have been prepared for Contract 20-RFP-24, Request for Qualification to Participate in a Reverse Auction to Supply Electricity to the MWRD, at the request of the Maintenance and Operations Department.
The purpose of this contract is to request qualifications from potential suppliers to participate in a reverse auction to supply electricity to the MWRD.
The contract duration is for five years.
There are no direct costs for the professional services supplied throughout the term of this proposal. The successful proposer will be compensated through its activities related to the purchase of electricity.
No bid deposit is required for this proposal.
Appendix A and Appendix V will not be included due to the scope of work performed under this RFP.
The tentative schedule for this request for proposal is as follows:
Advertise August 11, 2021
Proposals Received August 31, 2021
Award October 21, 2021
Completion October 21, 2026
In view of the foregoing, it is recommended that the Director of Procurement and Materials Management be authorized to advertise Contract 20-RFP-24.
