Contract documents and specifications have been prepared to furnish and deliver lubricants, beginning approximately November 1, 2023 and ending October 31, 2024.

 

The purpose of this contract is to furnish and deliver lubricants, to the District’s storerooms to maintain sufficient inventory levels, which are required for the day-to-day operational needs of the District.

 

The estimated cost of this contract is as follows:

No bid deposit is required for this contract.

 

The Multi-Project Labor Agreement (MPLA) is not applicable to this contract because it does not fall under the provisions of the MPLA.

 

The Affirmative Action Ordinance, Revised Appendix D and V will not be included in this contract because the estimate, per each individually awarded group of the contract, is less than the minimum threshold established by Section 4 of the Affirmative Action Ordinance.

 

The tentative schedule for this contract is as follows:

Advertise:                     July 26, 2023

Bid Opening:                     August 22, 2023

Award:                     October 5, 2023

Completion:                     October 31, 2024

 

Funds are available in Accounts 101-20000-623860.

 

In view of the foregoing, it is recommended that the Director of Procurement and Materials Management be authorized to advertise Contract 23-030-11.
