Contract documents and specifications have been prepared for publishing invitations to bid for contracts, legal notices for original entrance and promotional civil service examinations, and other legal notices for a one-year period, beginning approximately January 1, 2024 and ending December 31, 2024.
The estimated cost for this contract is $55,300.00.
No bid deposit is required for this contract.
The Multi-Project Labor Agreement (MPLA) is not applicable to this contract because the classification of work does not fall within the provisions of the MPLA.
The Affirmative Action Ordinance, Revised Appendix D, and Appendix V are not included in this contract, because the estimate is less than the minimum threshold established by Section 4 of the Affirmative Action Ordinance.
The tentative schedule for this contract is as follows:
Advertise September 20, 2023
Bid Opening October 10, 2023
Award December 07, 2023
Completion December 31, 2024
Funds are being requested in 2024 in Account 101-20000-612360 and are contingent upon the Board of Commissioners’ approval of the District’s budget for that year.
In view of the foregoing, it is recommended that the Director of Procurement and Materials Management be authorized to advertise Contract 24-045-11.
