Dear Sir:
In February 2023, payments were made via department procurement card to the Illinois Association for Floodplain and Stormwater Management for 35 District employees to attend the annual conference held March 14 and 15, 2023 in Tinley Park, Illinois in the amount of $15,050.00. Board policy states that the Board of Commissioners must approve all purchases for services over the amount of $10,000.00 to any one event in a given calendar year.
It is requested that the Board of Commissioners authorize and ratify the payments made to the Illinois Association for Floodplain and Stormwater Management for the annual conference in the amount of $15,050.00.
Funds are available in Accounts 101/501-50000-601100.
