Authorization to allow the Director of Procurement and Materials Management to accept pricing for the procurement of Renewable Energy Credits for 2024.

Dear Sir:
Authorization is requested to allow the Director of Procurement and Materials Management to accept pricing for the procurement of Renewable Energy Credits (RECs) for 2024. The Board of Commissioners approved the allocation of $500,000.00 in the 2024 budget for the purchase of RECs. The District will utilize Contract 21-RFP-06, Environmental Attributes Services Provider, for the procurement of RECs.
In view of the foregoing, it is requested that the Board of Commissioners authorize the Director of Procurement and Materials Management to accept pricing for procurement of RECs for 2024, subject to the maximum allocation of $500,000.00.
