Dear Sir:

 

On June 18, 2020, the Board of Commissioners authorized the Director of Procurement and Materials Management to issue purchase orders and enter into an agreement with AT&T Corporation for Communications Services in an amount not to exceed $1,315,496.09.  The contract expires on February 28, 2024.

 

As of February 2, 2024, the attached list of change orders has been approved.

The change order is necessary to pay the January and February invoices for voice communication services throughout the District’s locations in Cook County and Fulton County. 

 

This change order is in compliance with the Illinois Criminal Code since the change is due to circumstances not reasonably foreseeable at the time the contract was signed and is in the best interest of the District.

 

It is hereby recommended that the Board of Commissioners authorize the Director of Procurement and Materials Management to execute a change order to increase the purchase order in an amount of $41,943.81 (0.033% of the current contract value), from an amount of $1,292,559.20, to an amount not to exceed $1,334,503.01.

 

Funds are available in Account 101-27000-612210.
