Authority to advertise Contract 24-RFP-18 Leadership Training for a Three - Year Period, in an amount not to exceed $90,000.00, Account 101-25000- 60110, Requisition 1621506.

Dear Sir:

Request for Proposal (RFP) documents have been prepared for training services on Leadership Training for a Three -Year Period at the request of the Human Resources Department. The contract begins in the year 2025, for a three-year period ending in 2027.

 

The purpose of this RFP is to select a qualified vendor for the development and delivery of a training  program. The program aims to prepare present and future leaders for upper management and future roles. During the training, the participants’ existing skills will be refined and new skills will be acquired to develop, lead, and coach their own teams successfully. Approximately 450 managers and supervisors will participate in the training during the contract period. Training methods may include live, in-person sessions on District premises, virtual sessions via Microsoft Teams, e-learning courses accessible through the District’s learning management system (Cornerstone OnDemand), or a combination of these approaches. The training will occur in years 2025, 2026, and 2027.

 

A bid deposit is not required for this request for proposal.

 

The Diversity Section reviewed the request for proposal to determine if Affirmative Action Ordinance,  Appendix A and the Appendix V goals will apply. Affirmative action participation goals are applicable to District proposals where the estimated total expenditure is in excess of $100,000.00. Since the estimated cost for these services is not to exceed $90,000.00 for a three-year period, Affirmative Action participation goals will not apply. Therefore, Appendix A and Appendix V will not be included.

 

The tentative schedule for this contract is as follows:

Contract Award Date          November 14, 2024

Completion Date                     December 31, 2027

 

Funds for years 2025, 2026, and 2027 are contingent on the Board of Commissioners’ approval of the District’s budgets for these years.

 

In view of the foregoing, it is recommended that the Director of Procurement and Materials Management be authorized to advertise Contract 24-RFP-18.
