Dear Sir:
The Engineering Department and the Treasurer have examined capital fund balances in relation to District projects currently identified under the Capital Improvement Program and determined that a bond sale is required to maintain balances to fund ongoing and expected capital projects.
The District is holding this public hearing to receive comments on the intention of the Board of Commissioners to sell general obligation capital improvement bonds in an amount not to exceed $550,000,000. The bonds will be issued as State Revolving Fund loan obligations and as part of a bond sale in the capital markets.
The general obligation capital improvement bonds will fund the following current and future projects:
